Women's Fashion Tips Bought these in anticipation of harsher winter weather that never really came this year. Still, I wore them in some light snow and ice and I have a few conclusions. First, they are are surprisingly light. Before purchasing I read this in reviews, but it's still shocking when the whole package seems to hardly weigh anything. These are also very warm, especially considering they hardly weigh anything. My feet were very toasty every time I wore them-- maybe a little too warm in some cases, though I'd much rather have slightly sweaty feet in freezing weather than to have numb toes. Lastly, and most importantly, I found these to be painful to wear. I must say that I'm not used to wearing higher boots that lace up around your ankles, but I can't imagine all boots of this style feel like this. No matter how tightly or loosely I lace and tie them, they rub on my ankles and lower legs so much that after 10 minutes of walking makes it hardly bearable. I actually had a couple little sores from the repetitive rubbing. My best solution is to not lace them all the way up, but only through the first set of eyelets. This helps, but doesn't solve the problem. I think I'll keep them and use them to take the dog out in bad weather, but if you can, find these in a store and try them or even buy then and walk around the house for a day or two to see if they rub awkwardly on your ankles. I wish I had done that and spent my money on a more comfortable boot.
Great hiking boot with a true fit. It took a bit of breaking in but once they were one of the better boots I own.
Women's Fashion Tips These shoes allow me to work a 10 hour shift without the back pain that can slow you down. They do not slip and are ideal for anyone on their feet all day.
